Terms & Conditions – Drainage & Plumbing Services
1. Definitions
- “Company” refers to your business.
- “Client” refers to the person, company, or organisation booking services.
- “Services” refers to all drainage, plumbing, CCTV surveys, and related work carried out.
2. Quotations & Pricing
- All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time.
- Any additional work required outside the original scope will be discussed and may incur additional charges.
- Prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
3. Deposits
- For any job with a total value exceeding £800, a deposit is required prior to commencement of work.
- Failure to pay the deposit may result in delays or cancellation of the booking.
4. Payment Terms
- Domestic Clients: Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work.
- Commercial Clients: Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date.
- Payment details will be provided on the invoice.
5. Late Payment Fees
- Any unpaid invoices beyond the agreed payment terms will incur a late payment fee of £99 per week.
- The Company reserves the right to suspend further work or services until outstanding balances are cleared.
6. CCTV Surveys & Reports
- CCTV survey reports will be provided within 3–5 working days after completion, subject to full payment being received.
- No reports, footage, or video recordings will be released until payment has been made in full.
7. Appointments & Attendance
- Morning appointments: Scheduled before 12:00 PM.
- Afternoon appointments: Scheduled before 4:30 PM.
- While we aim to arrive within the allocated timeframe, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
8. Out of Hours Services
- Any work carried out after 4:30 PM will be classified as out-of-hours.
- An additional call-out fee will apply for out-of-hours services.
9. Cancellation Policy
- Clients may cancel appointments free of charge if notice is given more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the agreed service cost.
- Failure to attend or provide access at the scheduled time may also result in the same charge.
10. Access
- The Client must provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
- Failure to provide access may result in a call-out charge.
10.5 Parking & Access Requirements
- The Client is responsible for ensuring suitable parking and access as close as reasonably possible to the property.
- Due to the nature of the equipment used, close access is required.
- Any parking fines, penalty charges, or tickets incurred while attending or carrying out work on site will be chargeable to the Client.
11. Liability
- The Company will carry out all work with reasonable skill and care.
- We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing issues or damage not visible at the time of work.
- Indirect or consequential losses.
12. Warranty
- Any workmanship guarantee will be specified at the time of service.
- The warranty does not cover misuse, third-party interference, or lack of maintenance.
13. Acceptance of Terms
- By booking our services, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
